Originally conceived as a one-off film in the early 1960’s, 'Seven Up!' was ground-breaking television - the very first example of a programme recording real people living real lives - and the follow-up films have won an array of awards. Director Michael Apted, who has since moved to Hollywood to direct films, has returned every seven years to chart the children's progress through life. Over the past five decades, the series has documented the group as they have become adults and entered middle-age, dealing with everything life has thrown at them in between. Now all 7 documentaries are available in one box set. Read about 7 - 49 Up! in Teletronic's Merchandise section.

William Hartnell helped establish one of the longest running drama series on television. Teletronic pays tribute to the first Lord of Time.

The Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) is probably the closest entity America has to a government-funded television network. For decades, PBS has maintained its mission of providing high quality news, documentary, alternative and children’s programming.

Saturday Night Live is one of those unusual occurrences–born in part out of desperation and nearly ignored in its first few months. But NBC’s late-night weekend sketch comedy proved to be a fertile ground for fresh, new talent.

Chris Carter's sci-fi horror series Millennium has achieved cult status with fans around the world. The TV series had a profound impact on those who watched it; the lead character Frank Black, played by actor Lance Henriksen, was a true hero for our time. Now Mark Hayden looks at the campaign to bring back one of US television's great cult heroes.
